Good point. Maybe someone else might have the same issue. Background: It seems that every time I have to reboot my computer (with LMS) I can't connect to either my Touch or my Radio.
The most recent time when I did the Network Health check on either device, the ARPing would be okay but when it tried to use port 9002 it would fail. According the LMS status screen everything was peachy. It saw both devices and everything read okay, even port 9002. That was when I made my post appealing for help and pity. After I posted I tried to turn off all of my firewalls (Linksys router, Avast, and Windows). When I did that, everything started working! So it was a matter of restarting them one at a time and finding the culprit. After it was narrowed down to the Windows firewall I found that my last port change from 9010 to 9002 had not been done for the windows firewall. 15385 After I fixed that for both TCP and UDP it seemed that things were better. I do have to admit that most times that I awaken the Touch, there still seems to be a lag pulling up "New Music" and sometimes I will get the old, " Can't find your library would you like to try another library" but if I wait it out it finally comes around. Anyone else have that problem?
