Should be fine. It's essentially the same as the Boom's mini-plug out to sub minus some of the Boom's extra Line Out controls.
Though I can't imagine why using the Boom's Line Out would introduce rebuffering. Seems completely unrelated to such an issue. By Boom is on 24/7 with a sub with no such issues. Tried the Boom with just a set of headphones?
