There is no such contract with existing owners. In many countries, notably the EU member states, they are required by law to continue support for two years after the last damned device is sold. After that we're on our own. And the only services that will be lost are streaming services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, etc. Local music will still work just the same, and even TuneIn will work for internet radio if you use LMS 7.8.0.
