hi all, Nw to the forum so forgive me if this is already covered somewhere. I have a squeezebox classic (Slim devices) that i've used for years and recently the OLED backlight began to fail. half of the display went dim, then dark then the other half and now I cant see anything on the screen. The device powers on (the toslink out is illuminated) and I think if I can get it on my network again I should be able to set it up effectively and run it using the web app or one of the smartphone controllers.
The question is does anyone know a way to set it up without being able to see the screen? Can I connect directly to the network port? is there an alternative way to drive the device or a fix for the backlight?
