Turns out this vexing issue was resolved by uninstalling Logitech media server from the control panel and then reloading it from the Web (same version). I also reset the radios several weeks prior (that step alone provide no value) so be aware it may be the combination of activities that led to resolution. I suspect its the LMS reload though and I hope this tip saves someone in Squeezyland some frustration.
