So...in the previous episodes ;-)

- my Ue Smart Radio - no music library streaming, just web radios - had
been working ok for a long time, connected to a Netgear extender;
- the extender was on its default settings, I never accessed it to
change anything;
- all of a sudden, my Ue Smart radio stopped connecting: the extender
could still be seen among the available networks, but there was to way
to link the Ue to it. The radio still connected to the router: this
being quite far, the signal was weak (20%) and some dropouts occurred;
- the routines about turning everything off and on, and resetting the
device to factory status, gave me no joy.

Then I found in the web an old post about a different device (kindle)
with similar problems: the OP suggested to check the "channels"
settings, and changing them from "automatic" to manual.

I did it, and the Ue instantly connected to the router. It has been
working for a few hours with no problems, with 60% signal strength and
no dropouts.

The app suggested by castalla is very useful, it shows the channels and
the connected networks. Sweet.

Now all is working, let's hope it will last for a while ;-)

Thank you for you help!
