When in Squeezbox Radio mode it should not say switch to Squeezbox Radio at the Advanced Settings?! Should it not say switch to UE Smart Radio?
I'd says so, yes. One other difference is that the UE screen would use blueish highlight color. SB is more colorful (or more flexible). Send a screenshot from a menu and I'll tell you what firmware you use :-).
