as far as I'm aware you can use just any Squeezebox remote control with any Squeezebox model. They all share the same infrared codes and are only differentiated by the amount of buttons. I can safely confirm that a numeric keypad is offered on the remote controls for SB Classic (SB2 and SB3), SB Touch, Transporter. Usually, the universal Logitech Harmony remote control models support the infrared codes for Squeezeboxes, too. Cheers, Joe PN me if your Boom / Classic / Transporter display has issues!
