I have it open so I can listen to my music in my car or at the gym. I also have the remote desktop port opened because I have to be able to remote in to my computer from the outside. But now that I have Spotify on my phone I guess I do not need the external access like I once did.
As far as the mysqueezebox.com, the players seem to be connected to it (or I can select it). When I go to "mysqueezebox.com" and log in it does show all of my players, but I do not see any evidence that the LMS is logged on. I know at one time the LMS was logged on. However how do I know that it is connected? I go to "Settings" then the "mysqueezebox.com" tab and enter my email address and password and click "apply" and there is no feedback that it worked. As far as LMS being old, there was a reason I kept this version but I don't remember what it was.
