By "missing bass problem" do you mean the "Bass amp problem" which has been the subject of this thread: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104141-Bass-amp-problem ? If so, there are better ways of ameliorating it than ruining your power socket by over-use, but I think you've probably realized that ! I have a fix in the works that does seem to eliminate it altogether, but at the price of an occasional "click" in the playback.
