SqueezeOS-SqueezePlay is what I use for the firmware, it's the closest
code base to the original. My SqueezePlay repo has had so many changes
over the years and I really want to keep the community firmware as close
to the original as possible.

According to the dropbear help -I 0 is the default, no connection
timeout and keep alive should be enabled by default, at least that's how
I read it.
Code:
--------------------
-i Start for inetd
-K <keepalive> (0 is never, default 1, in seconds)
-I <idle_timeout> (0 is never, default 0, in seconds)
--------------------
Try forcing no timeout by adding -I 0 (capital letter eye and zero) to
the end of the ssh line in /etc/inet.d.conf.
Code:
--------------------
# grep ^ssh /etc/inetd.conf
ssh stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/dropbear dropbear -i -I 0
--------------------
You can restart inetd without rebooting will kill -HUP and the pid of
the inetd process. I've noticed the disconnects as well and have made
the change on my radio also.
