Not a Synology user myself, but you may get more responses in the Logitech Media Server forum. AFAIK, there may be issues with Synology NAS installs these days - I've seen several threads on this. I used to run LMS on a QNAP but switched to a Raspberry Pi some years ago. I found it much more straightforward to manage than the NAS installation. But like I say, I have no Synology experience...
