Well, for backwards compatibility, no router will (should) have this mode on by default. In my experience with two different WiFi6 routers, neither were set out of box to ONLY AX. That would be strange, because none of the older machines will work....very few clients do AX...I have only two here........PCs which new wifi6 cards.
