Just to +1 on an SBR owner who suspects Asus f/w may be compounding wifi connectivity issues. I upgraded routers to Asus ZenWiFi AX mesh routers (x2) a few months back. A lot of messing about with the 2.4ghz network settings, and I did have a stable connection. Last week the f/w was updated and cannot get the SBR to connect again (the Classic has no issues). I have the 2.4ghz set to legacy, various other settings described in posts above disabled. I have updated PCP to LMS 8 and updated the f/w to the latest stable version. The current behaviour is that if I do a hard restart, the SBR will find the network and connect. It will stay connected, but as soon as I stream anything, it will play c. 15-30secs then lose connectivity. Am I correct in thinking that wlanpoke is included in the current stable f/w for SBR? Does it need to be activated? I can't pipe the log anywhere, as I cannot be sure of a stable connection.
