I now have my Radios set up so that Holding buttons 1 -> 6 on the remote will play presets 1 -> 6, just like on my Squeezebox Classic. I don't need to use the remote to save presets - I can walk over to the Radio and use its buttons to do that, on the rare occasions that I want to change the presets.
