I think @slatri and @toby10 summed it up. You may be playing what you think is a http link, but the source has taken the http request from you, and delivered the content via https (non technical lingo, it's not my strong area). So you think you are playing http, but it's actually https, and mysb.com wont play it. Conversely, some streams have active https and http, and so mysb.com might play it. as @toby explained, both LMS and mysb.com are "servers". mysb.com was provided for "out of the box" functionality. In the past, neither supported https. Further development of mysb.com was discontinued some time after the line was dropped, but LMS development continued as a community effort, and is still ongoing. https support was added along the way somewhere mysb.com is still kept alive by logitech for legacy purposes (some people are using it despite it's limitations), but it might go away someday. Thanks to this wonderful community and the gracious devs, LMS will live forever. Right guys? :) This is my understanding, anyone, please chime in with corrections/clarifications Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96256 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
