Some people seem to have issues with the 2.4 GHz band of the Archer C6 V2 https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/165494?replyId=1015440&utm_source=Subscription&utm_medium=email Although mine is working fine. If OPENWRT didn't work for you then this may not be your issue.
