I don't think thatnthis is possible and does make any sense: the radios are mono, so no stereo amp inside. Adding two speakers in parallel would probably too much for the little amp inside. According to the wiki, it is a two-way speaker, so you would at least need an appropriate speaker for each frequency range. And the radios' sound is highly optimised with a DSP, which should apply volume-dependent changed. So it would be worse if the acoustic properties change. You have to use the stereo headphones output and an external amp if you are not satisfied with the sound. Or use two radios in bridged stereo mode.
