If you suspect this, a couple things to try: Use an app like wifi analizer (android) on a phone/tablet to see the relative strength of your and neighboring networks both near your radio, but also walk around. If you find a spot where the difference in signal is the greatest, try your radio there, see if things improve. Solid objects and water/moisture attenuate 2.4GHz frequencies (the carrier that the data is modulated on). If you have a basement, try the radio down there (ground is an excellent attenuator), perhaps below your router. You can check the relative signal strength down there with analyzer app. It doesn't solve anything, but at least you will know the culprit, maybe visualize the problem. I have several radios in two locations and I have never had a problem, but I am very rural, and use a N and AC router (wifi 6 is AX) Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117231 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
