If you suspect this, a couple things to try:

Use an app like wifi analizer (android) on a phone/tablet to see the
relative strength of your and neighboring networks both near your radio,
but also walk around. If you find a spot where the difference in signal
is the greatest, try your radio there, see if things improve.

Solid objects and water/moisture attenuate 2.4GHz frequencies (the
carrier that the data is modulated on). If you have a basement, try the
radio down there (ground is an excellent attenuator), perhaps below your
router. You can check the relative signal strength  down there with
analyzer app.

It doesn't solve anything, but at least you will know the culprit, maybe
visualize the problem. I have several radios in two locations and I have
never had a problem, but I am very rural, and use a N and AC router
(wifi 6 is AX)
