These suggestions refer to the ticket form:
#1 - add trunk version
A lot of tickets reported against version 1.0 are actually trunk
tickets. Maybe adding a trunk version would help. Also would make it
easier to track down and close <=1.0 bugs that happen to be already
fixed.
So, either add a trunk version, or something like 1.1a (so we will
know in the future that it was reported against the trunk before the
1.1 release)
#2 - more descriptive severity
normal, major, critical, blocker, etc are quite subjective
severities. maybe something along the lines of crasher, dataloss,
malfunction, refactor, cosmetic, documentation would be more helpful.
The way it is setup now, the severity of the report (along with the
priority) depends pretty much on how the reporter feels about it. (he
may *need it fixed ASAP* for his project or whatever)
