I use Firefox on Linux daily, on a screen dimension of 1920x1080. I haven't
seen this problem at any point in the last year.
I can't reproduce the problem, despite trying. That's not to say that it
doesn't exist, but just that we don't have enough information to figure out if
it's a widespread issue, or whether there's something more rare that's causing
the problem.
If anyone has any more information, then I'm happy to reopen this.
