If the datalist is causing issues, I created another version where the options
are rendered in a <ul> dropdown. However, when the route sidebar is closed, the
dropdown gets clipped and you have to scroll within the small input area. When
the sidebar is opened, the dropdown displays at full height. This version
should work consistently for all browsers.
