I didn't even know that share panel offered the option to share a link with a
marker!
I've definitely felt the need for this feature lately, wanting to share a
precise location with others, and have always intuitively thought that it would
be available in the right-click menu.
What I do instead (and what I assume others might do given that even a seasoned
OSM contributor does this!) is:
1. Right-click on location
1. Click "Show address"
1. Click on the Nominatim result
1. Hope that the closest address is close enough to the place I want to share!
1. Copy the URL
That's because the "internal" result (which I tested first) does not include a
marker, despite being more precise.
Of course, I'm happy to be criticised for not having looked harder for the
option available in the share menu 😄! However, I think it's fair that users
would instinctively expect to be able to share a _precise_ location by
right-clicking on the map, instead of using the Share panel: the first option
points to a precise location, whereas the second one can be expected to be
designed to share a whole view rather than one precise point.
Yes, I see that you can now:
1. Click the Share button
1. Tick the "Include marker" option
1. Move the marker to the precise location (or make it slide by moving the map)
1. Copy the link
An alternative, or an addition, to what is suggested by HolgerJeromin could be:
1. Right-click
1. Click "Copy link to here", which would directly copy the URL (long with
marker) to the clipboard.
Which is a lot quicker.
So I wouldn't mind having in the context menu, if it's not too much:
* "Copy link to here" (the option described above)
* "Share..." (leading to the share panel, auto-filled)
