Hi, we're successfully using Globalize on our site in production for a while now, running on Rails 2.0. In the next release of our site, which is based on Rails 2.2, we want to utilize the new I18n functionality.
I've been experimenting with the preview release of Globalize 2 and it's just what we need except that it lacks a DB backend. Is there a timeline for the DB backend? Or should we build our own based on the same API as Simple Backend, while we wait? Our timeline until launch is about 2-3 months from now.
