Hey there roro listers, just a quick shout out to the list to see if anyone is interested in a 6 month contract with Plus2.
We've got a bunch of new projects coming up over the next few months and I'm looking for a mid-level level Rails developer to augment our growing team. The stuff you'll be doing includes: - working on maintaining existing projects. Applying your green thumb to help them grow. - developing new projects // products from the ground up. The obligatory list of skills... We hate those lists of skills that say you have to be able to code in 8 languages and have at least 10 years hardcore Rails experience as well as being able to solve the crisis middle east. But here's a couple of things you'll need: - A sense of humour - Problem solving skills - Ability to work in an unstructured environment... you'll be working from home // cafe // library // remotely. We try to avoid offices as much as possible. - obviously some experience with rails - esp. ecommerce gumpf and js - ability would be very helpful Contract will be for 6 months and 3 days per week... but if it all works out well (i.e. we like each other) it could turn into something more permanent.
