Yo. Thanks for those that came along last night. It was a quieter meetup than usual, everyone was probably still reeling from the long weekend (note for next time snapperooby).
For those who weren't at Railscamp or the Sydney RORO meetup Bananajour is a replacement for gitjour. It's a way to publish git repositories directly from your lappy, so if you don't have the net or don't want to push to github, use Bananajour. The difference between gitjour and Bananajour is that it has it's own git repositories that you push to from any working copy, so no more serving work copies or worrying about serving multiple directories. It also has a web interface for both public viewage as well as a local view for bonjour aggregation. To get up and started: gem install toolmantim-bananajour --source http://gems.github.com The code is on github: http://github.com/toolmantim/bananajour/tree/ The slides from last night can be found here: http://www.slideshare.net/toolmantim/introducing-bananajour You can comment here: http://faces.rubyoceania.org/groups/sydney/meetings/2009-06-09/presos/4 and the support/discussion list is here: http://groups.google.com/group/bananajour -- tim --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
