I love the idea - there's a rich ecosystem of Ruby related videos already (Railscasts, various confreaks archives, etc) and it would be great to add to that pool. It'd be a bit of work to do properly with editing, transcoding, etc. It's achieveable, but it would be best if it's not an additional thing the usual organiser(s) has to worry about on top of speakers/venue/MCing.
