You guys should pick up what we do in brisbane if you don't have something
equivalent. Offset from our normal ruby meetups we have a get together day
that we call ActionHack. We usually start on a saturday and go from 12pm
till as late as 8 or 9pm (one even went later i think). We usually have
about 12-15 people though more would come if we could find the space for it.
Definitely one of the more enjoyable ways for geeks to get together and
there is usually a lot of awesome conversation, without the pressure for
presentations or any formal agenda -- we all just code and share our
ideas/experiences. Great fun.
