Hi, Before selecting Linode myself, I did some research online and found quite a few blogs suggesting that Mosso performance was on par with SliceHost. Technically you are getting the SliceHost solution paid for by the minute and gigabyte, but with the servers hosted within one of the main RackSpace data centres rather than the normal SliceHost data centres.
If you need to bring a server online for short time periods or low bandwidth requirements then this to me is a good deal. However as soon as you require more consistent amounts of CPU and bandwidth you would be better off with the Linode/SliceHost pricing model.
