Yello RORO peeps,

Just a shout out to anyone looking for some contract work.

Snepo has a contract position available for 12 weeks starting from mid
August.

The position is basically to fill in for me, while I'm off overseas
getting married, and honeymooning, however with all the work we have
scheduled at the moment there is a distinct possibility of full time
at the end of the contract if you're interested.

A little about Snepo:
Snepo is a small company that's been kicking around for about 4 years
now, currently with 6 developers, a designer and 3 directors - www.snepo.com
.
One of the directors is named after a orifice, we've got a sweet
office in Surry Hills with cool space like lights, a Wii and the home
brew kit has been ordered.
We hack out code in Ruby, AS3, Objective C, Lua, Erlang, and whatever
else we feel like playing with. We've don't answer to any investors,
and we're 100% client work funded, and have been since day 1.

The developer roles are broken into two main teams:
1. Flash - We're very well known for our flash work - But that's not
this role.
2. Everything else - This is what I do, basically if it's development,
and it's not flash, then myself or the other "backend" guy do it.

Currently we're working on a range of things, from a social networking
site for 3-5 year olds with a tie in to an upcoming new kids
television show, to an augmented reality installation for a large
shopping centre, again for 3-5 year olds. All the backend interfaces
for this stuff are done in Ruby, and obviously the social networking
site will be HTML/CSS/Javascript.

Anyhow, if you know Ruby and are looking to work with a pretty chilled
out team on some really cool stuff to help educate and engage kids
with the environment, then drop me an email at [email protected] and I
can supply you with some more details and answer any questions.

Cheers for now and have yourselves a most awesome weekend,
Cam
