I've been using RVM recently and I've found it to be awesome so far. I
used it on a clean Snow Leopard install to leave the default Mac ruby
untouched and so far its working great with 1.8.6, 1.8.7, 1.9 and
JRuby. Haven't tried out Homebrew.
Babushka looks awesome, will definitely be checking it out in more
detail.
