The client runs a national internet business which was founded in Brisbane and they are progressively moving the business (and development) to Pyrmont. As part of the move, they are seeking a Ruby developer to complete a project in conjunction with database developer in Brisbane. The business operates nationally and is an innovative eCommerce solution with established clients. Strong financially, I have dealt with this client for 15 years. The development team have been working with open source development for 20 years and are very switched on technically. The location is fantastic - the office overlooks the water at Pyrmont. Ruby is a new technology to the company therefore there is a great opportunity to set the standards in an agile, test driven environment.
