Hi Xavier, > 2) Format OK? Would a weekend be better? > 3) Would you prefer a different presenter? Am I too boring? > 4) Could you bring your own laptop? > 5) What city are you in?
Steve Hayes and I first started working under the Cogent Consulting banner together about 3 years ago by running what we called Easy Access Training (EAT). We ran one day courses on a Saturday at Northcote Town Hall. Attendees brought their own laptops. Pricing was via an auction system starting at $50, with "buy it now" options starting at $300. You can actually still see some details on our website (now a blind url because we don't run them anymore) at http://cogentconsulting.com.au/training/eat-pricing.html So my feedback is that the price is about right, and that you shouldn't have any trouble with people bringing a laptop. Actual attendee numbers will be lower than the set of people who are interested. If you need 5 people to make it worth your while, try to get 20 people to say they're interested. Good luck!
