An opportunity to build a facebook app for a prestigious client here in Australia (I'd work for them anyhow) has come up for a dev shop in Sydney or Melbourne.
You need to have *at least* one serious facebook app under your belt and it does involve some OpenSocial work. Seems like an interesting project and guess a 2-3+ person shop could handle it. The decider thinks it's a four week gig, but I get the feeling it might be more. Probably starting in 3-4 weeks. If you're interested, please email me directly expressing an interest, pointers to your facebook app(s), a few other Rails/ruby apps you're proud of, and a rate card and I'll forward names to the person responsible at the company and stickhandle any ontros that need to be made. ciao ! Daryl. PS> I have no stake in the project other than just doing a favour for someone back in Canada (and like seeing Rails shops getting to do cool stuff). I'm passing on it because I am going to be flat out until the federal election working on GetUp's new platform and preserving my sanity. PPS> Other awesome shops further afield might want to also throw down on this, but don't know if the decider involved will be up for it. Having a local shop to sit down with seemed to be important to them. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
