Hi Patrick First off, I don't have any job offers... but I just want to share a few tips to help becoming more involved in the community (Ruby, Melbourne, whatever).
* If you're not already coming along to Melbourne Ruby meets, that's a great thing to start with. Of course, it is only once a month (last Thurs of each month), so... * Inspire 9, a co-working space in Richmond, is usually full of interesting people, a good number of which are Rubyists. * Jelly happens every fortnight on Fridays, at various venues. Again, not all Rubyists, but a great mix of people. http://dropin.inspire9.com.au/ http://wiki.workatjelly.com/JellyInMelbourne At the very least, you'll be able to take advantage of the shared knowledge of these groups, and it may lead to job leads in the future. Good luck! -- Pat On 07/05/2010, at 11:55 AM, Patrick McLaren wrote: > Looking for a part time entry level position.
