Just to briefly revive this thread: the guys at relevance have shifted from Prince to wkhtmltopdf (mainly it seems to save money, not due to lacking features): http://thinkrelevance.com/blog/2010/06/15/rethinking-pdf-creation-in-ruby.html - and they wrote their own gem to help: http://github.com/jdpace/PDFKit
