I think there are 2 key points of interest in this article :
1) "Sources close to the virtual shopping mall project say it is one

Ruby programming language." A win for Ruby.
2) "We probably wouldn't be interested. Our online space, particularly
with our target audience, is something we find personal between us and
our consumers and we don't see the need to link with a third party,"
Mr King said. It sounds like it could be a massive failure - taking on
eBay and trying to funnel users and retailers when they are capable of
findin their own way.
