As one of Australia's largest Ruby on Rails websites, www.redbubble.com, we provide services to a global artistic community. Our facilities range from social networking to sales and fulfilment support. We are also a place where users tend to enjoy just hanging out and discussing art.
Our work provides us with many challenges: user generated content, image hosting and display, product fulfilment, international shipping and taxation (and fraud), a large and passionate community of users interacting socially. These keep us pretty busy yet we still make sure we have time for new ideas. Day to day, our engineering team perform a range of tasks from product discussions, software design and development through to tinkering with servers.
