Cheers all for the recommendations! The bonus of Rails 3 in Action is that there's BDD all the way through unlike the other books. Using the same process as people use in the real world whilst introducing new topics.
The guy who's writing it, so I hear, is incredibly humble (joke!) and is willing to accept criticism (not joke!), plus he's local so it's easier to ask him questions about it. I would recommend buying Rails 3 in Action although that is probably a slight bias.
