Actually, I don't think there is *anything* wrong with that (other than the fact you havne't updated it and are not blogging... =] ). I've got a semi-finished, heroku deployable, markdown friendly, padrino and MongoDB-backed wordpress killer sitting around in my dev folder somewhere as well that's in a state of "almost ready"... =]
Hell, I also just liked the approach of Serious as well. Liking Jekyll, still not convinced it's not going to trip me up blog-wise (I really do like using tools like MarsEdit to post, so like the xml-rpc api). Daryl.
