In Seattle (which has a pretty huge start-up scene) we used to have drinks
every week where startups could meet local VC/Angel funders and discuss
ideas.  I'd love to see something like that here.  Sort of like a
pre-Y-combinator scene where you could pitch your ideas, get
feedback, guidance  criticism, and see what others were doing.  It was also
an awesome way to shop for people and jobs.
