YouDo, a Rails based software company out of Wellington NZ, currently looks after an awesome client in Powershop - the world's first online energy store. And we're about to go west and take the revolution to the Big Island, Australia. As such, YouDo is gonna need some awesome Rails developers to help us do this. We need to "productise" and "internationalise" the Powershop platform, and then set up all of the Australia specific integrations and datafeeds. We're looking for intermediate to senior Rails developers to come and join the YouDo team to help us achieve this. YouDo will likely set up an Australia HQ out of Melbourne, where our client also has established a presence. There'll no doubt be travel opportunities between MEL and WLG too. Whilst Powershop will be the primary project, we always like to keep people fresh, so there's ample opportunity to get involved in other areas of our business. We'll entertain contractors as well as permanent, but our preference is for the latter. We'll also entertain remote workers but would want successful candidates to spend at least a couple of days a week working onsite with us and our client. We pay very good market rates, but as always, this depends upon the candidate's expertise and experience. We're looking for this role to start asap, so if you're looking to lock something up before the Christmas break then now's the time.
