Operation Jam is looking for an experienced Ruby/Rails developer to work at a music start-up. Lots of challenges, good people and interesting work. We haven't quite launched yet and are looking for someone to push us to launch before getting right into all the features on our roadmap. Must have experience in * Ruby on Rails, of course * Backbone Nice to haves * Sunspot/Solr * Plus all the usual, BDD, Rspec etc etc If you have to ask you probably aren't the right person The OpJam team is currently located in Sydney and it would be preferable if you weren't too far away, so you can occasionally attend meetings and pair in person. Otherwise for the most part we would be happy with someone working from home, or if you like you can work from our office. Remuneration will be between $45 - $90 per hour depending on experience. We are looking for someone on a 3 month contract which we would hope to extend or turn into a permanent position.
