Hi all,

I have potential client that requires a e-commerce solution with the
ability to issue quotations/pro-forma invoices.

The client sells large products that are not typically purchased using a
credit card or payment gateway.

The idea is to have the usual "shop" type application but instead of
checking out, a quote request is issued.

The admin then adjusts the order to suit, changing the price accordingly
and then sending a quote/pro-forma invoice.

I have looked both at shopify and spree and although one can customise the
checkout process, its seems its not possible to adjust the order
post-purchase.

Budget for the project is not massive, so a from-the-ground-up rails app is
not feasible.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

Thanks,

Steve
