Hi Guys,

The Full Circle Group (www.fullcirclegroup.com.au) is looking for a Ruby on
Rails developer to help work on a suite of applications that provide
telecommunications management, reporting and auditing for medium-to-large
businesses Australia wide.

Ideally, we're looking for someone with at least 12 months of full-time
commercial experience with Ruby on Rails.

However, we're also interested in candidates who have at least 2 years of
commercial experience in a similar MVC framework (Django, CakePHP, etc) and
demonstrable knowledge of Ruby and Rails. If you've been looking to transition
into a Rails-based role, this could be your opportunitiy.

We use Rails 2.3 and 3.2, PostgreSQL, HAML/SASS and RSpec. On the front-end,
our legacy apps are using Prototype, but all new development is done using
jQuery. We also expect that you've got a sold working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

We're also very interested in Backbone.js and responsive design—if you are too,
we should talk.

The role is a generalist development position. You'll be working on bug-fixes,
adding new features to existing apps, helping maintain servers, checking load
issues as well as helping scope, design and develop new applications.

To begin with, we're looking for a mid-level developer, starting with a salary
offer of $75K (plus super). That said, someone with the right skills and
experience could negotiate this up to $90k.

The position is in-house to begin with—working from co-working spaces /
remotely is something we can discuss down the track.

Our office is located in Elsternwick, Melbourne, Victoria. It's ~15 minutes
from the CBD by train (on the Sandringham line), or you can catch the 67 tram
which stops virtually outside our front door.

If you have any queries, or wish to apply, my contact details are:

Email: [email protected]
Phone: 0402 114 697

Applications should include a simple CV citing relevant qualifications and
experience, a list of projects you've worked on (with a summary of YOUR direct
contributions / responsibilities) and (preferably) a GitHub account so I can
get a good idea of your technical capabilities. You should also include the
term "fizz-knuckle" in the subject of your email to demonstrate your capacity
for attention to detail.

All enquiries will be treated discretely and with the strictest of
confidentiality.

Recruitment Agencies: thanks, but no-thanks. Not interested.
