Working in inner city Woolloomooloo near the Australian Silicon Hills (a.k.a Surry Hills). Here is a run down on the company and the role. YoYo Button offer businesses the opportunity to use mobile surveys to engage and reward their clients. Our main focus is B2B. The system operates through mobile apps (Apple and Android) and can be made available using our App or integrated into a client’s App. The business was founded in 2010 with trials late last year and has scored its first few clients. So we're super excited about the growth opportunity! The business is supported by 3 shareholders and we're now building the team for growth! We use the Lean philosophy, work hard and play hard. We are looking for a real team player that gets excited about turning tech into a real business! The ideal candidate will also be rewarded with equity in the business. Our job specs are: - Development experience in Ruby on Rails, Jquery and HTML 5 (we'll want to see example of previous work, GitHub) - Ability to work in a Linux OS environment for support and deployment - Ability to clearly articulate issues, ideas and instructions to a team - Ability to manage support team and follow defined processes. - Working on Macs You will be supported (from a development perspective) by the Technical Director, 2 overseas based developers (one of them was initially based in Syd) and 1 support analyst. We also use contractors to assist with UI development. This is a full-time role. Salary and benefits (including equity) will depend on candidate experience and skills.
