Tertiary studies in IT or other relevant course is required and strong technical ability in Ruby is essential. ** A description of the job * In a nut shell our development roles look a little like the points below: - Deliver software development based on the suite of PageUp Web Products using Ruby on Rails - Partner with the Project Manager or Business Analyst to develop project plans and specifications - Provide advice, technical guidance and recommendations to the development team - Act as a point of contact for technical questions - Act as a mentor and coach to junior developers - Supervise the deployment process - Participate in the analysis of the project plan to identify areas for continuous improvement - Implement projects according to the project plan, interacting with all the team members, client and possibly other parties, such as contractors, on a regular basis. - Remain at the leading edge of development technologies and methodologies ** A description of the company* PageUp People are a highly successful and rapidly growing International Talent Management solutions provider, proud to support some of the world's leading organisations with their talent management needs.
