It's unfortunately an awfully clumsy process at the moment for a speaker to put their talk up when given the go-ahead:
Fork => Clone => Bundler => Edit => Build => Deploy => Pull Request ( => Merge => Deploy) Is there anything we can do to reduce the friction? Maybe we could have something either automatically pull and rebuild from the wiki (a bit risky), or can be kicked off with a button press / rake task by the admin? I may just be off my rocker here. If this isn't a nuts idea, though, I'd like to have a crack at the latter. (I've intentionally avoided suggesting that the admin be the only person to manually add speakers to the site so as to avoid log-jams. If it's in the wiki, the information will at least be accessible somewhere.) - Offtopic Bob On Tue, Sep 18, 2012 at 10:46 AM, Ivan Vanderbyl <[email protected]>wrote: > Shouldn't you be updating the Ruby Australia website instead of > maintaining two sites? > > https://github.com/rubyaustralia/ruby.org.au > > — I > > On 18/09/2012, at 10:29 AM, Steven Ringo <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Mark, > > Sounds awesome.
