We are a growing IT software as a service company, SiteMinder. We began life in 2007 as a new start up and after beating the odds, we have become a successful global company that leads our industry. We haven’t forgotten our roots and we still have the “heart of a start up”, but with the stability of a larger company. As we are currently experiencing a period of growth and we can’t code fast enough to keep up with demand, we need another Ruby Developer to come and join our team! Passion for Ruby and the Ruby community is a must for us! You have to love what you do, or you just won’t love working with our team of techies. On the subject of technology, we currently work with Rails 3, RSpec, Capybara, MySQL Haml, Sass, Compass, jQuery, jQuery UI, jQuery Tools. We are currently using Ruby Enterprise Edition at the moment, but we are moving to 1.9.3, and CoffeeScript and Rails Asset Pipeline are on the cards. But remember our technology stack changes when a Dev discovers something better. We are looking for a good Ruby developer (Obviously! I mean who would be looking for a bad one?), who is of mid – senior level. We are open to speaking with anyone who is passionate about Ruby. This Developer will be building innovative, industry leading products that are deployed on a global scale. You will be continually challenged and will be expected to continually learn and keep up with the newest technologies. You will be working onsite in our CBD office. This role is permanent, full time.
