Hey guys, If you are in Melbourne (or are willing to relocate to Melbourne), we are looking for a couple of senior ruby devs to work on some unique, interesting and challenging projects (gotta start with some buzz words hey).
First of all a little bit of background of us. We are Locomote (http://www.locomote.com.au/) - though our website isn't entirely up to date with what we do. At the moment we are working on a unique travel management platform for a few major corporate clients in Australia, and we are about to kick off another corporate travel tool that will be used by tens of thousands of coporate users. Now I know "corporate" is a scary keyword - fortunately, we operate in an agile fashion with a startup-like, friendly working environment, with some very strong funding partners. Currently we are a team of 6 developers. The project consists of several Rails apps (one main app, one API service, one engine and several smaller supporting components). We also have a SpineJS project that was developed a while ago and is going to get some major love for a future release. We care a great deal about code quality, user experience and most importantly, developer happiness. We are looking for (preferably) full stack developers who are well-versed in not only ruby/rails/JS but also web development / software engineering in general to join us and make us a better champion team. :) - Salary is very competitive and very rewarding if you have the necessary skills and experience. - We are located in a mansion in St Kilda, not too far from the beach! ;) - We run agile, *not* the oh-my-god-there-is-the-deadline-so-let's-do-overtime agile. - Founders (with design background) understand us technical guys - communication is efficient. - Did I mention the projects are really interesting and have a real purpose? If you fancy the opportunity to join a young team with great potential, I think this is it. Let's talk, please send me an email at fred [AT] locomote.com.au Happy hacking! :) Regards, Fred Wu -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
